Let TAM guide you through your next Grain Bin project with ease. We’ve been building grain bin systems for 35+ years and continue to stay on the leading edge providing quality grain systems for today’s complex and ever changing environment.
Grain bins are vented corrugated steel structures used for storing dry grains such as soybeans, shelled dry corn, oats, wheat, barley, sunflower seeds and other products used for human consumption, animal feed or fuel manufacturing. While a grain bin is sometimes referred to as a silo, the latter is a taller, narrower structure that stores silage like in the form of chopped corn or green grass that farmers feed to their livestock.
TAM is your one-stop headquarters for a wide variety of high-quality grain storage bins at competitive prices. At TAM, many of us are farmers too – we have a heart for the farmer and strive to deliver products that meet the unique challenges you face.
Grain Bin Models
TAM offers a variety of grain bins for sale from Brock® Grain Systems, an industry pioneer in the design and manufacturing of grain facility solutions for more than 60 years. Select from BROCK® SOLID grain bin models such as:
- Farm Bin: Specifically designed for on-farm grain storage applications, these bins are efficient to build and operate, meeting the needs of seasonal use and long term storage for your grain.
- Commercial Stiffened Bin: These commercial-grade bins have vertical sidewall stiffeners, which allow for taller bins with up to 106′ eave heights. The additional height maximizes storage space on a smaller footprint and the rugged stiffeners provide the strength and stability required for high-volume agricultural operations.
- 2.66″ vs 4.0″ Corrugation: BROCK offers two corrugations profiles for the bin sidewall sheets. Both are available as good options for your operation. However, due to a history of success and some shipping efficiencies, TAM Systems has standardized our grain bin offerings with 2.66” corrugation 32” tall sheets.
You’ll find these grain bin models in various diameters, capacities and eave heights. Review the farm bin storage capacity chart and commercial stiffened bin storage capacity chart to select the right size for you!
Grain Bin Features
We offer premium, well-engineered grain bins with the latest features designed for today’s complex and continually evolving agricultural environment:
- Easy-open access doors that are two-rings tall and require no tools. No need to squeeze through a tiny one ring door!
- Uniquely designed grain bin tops engineered for snow and equipment loads. Most bin sizes have a high-capacity roof option to support large conveyors and bridges at the peak.
- Safe and comfortable egress options include a ladder climbing system with cage and rest platforms, generous eave platforms, and handrail access to the bin peak.
- Sturdy tubular handrail installed adjacent to the roof manhole to aid entry and exit.
- High-strength aeration grain bin floors that provide ample, even air distribution and simplified cleaning. The tri-corr floor and Parthenon floor supports are market leaders for strength and durability.
- Advanced grain aeration systems that couple the best fan and ventilation choices to prevent grain damage and spoilage.
- Single-piece galvanized spun steel lids ensure a weather tight fit and open wide to receive portable conveying equipment.
- Solid foundations designs unique to each bin size that support the massive grain weight and keep the grain bin secure in winds of up to 90 mph.
Custom Design Grain Bins
At TAM, we recognize that a one-size-fits-all approach to grain bin design does not meet every customer’s needs. We’re capable of sourcing the right components to ensure a tailored solution that works for your business. Whether you require a customization for the floor, fan, unload, etc. we can do it in-house and to your exact specifications.
